Diana inherited a book about her family written in Armenian, which had been published by her great uncle. Within this book she found this large family tree of the Daghavarian family, covering the period from 1701-1957, with 8 generations represented in the shape of a semi-circle. Even though it was in Armenian and she couldn't read it, it is still a very important and informative item for her to have access to.

The family tree was even able to help Diana make connections with other family members she had never gotten to know, where she was able to bond with a cousin over their Armenian history. The book also contained photos of themselves and their relatives, so they were able to create a deeper connection with not just each other but also their family members depicted in the book.

"I recently met a cousin of mine who I was always intrigued by on the family tree because she was born the same year as me... And we recently got together, so that was very exciting. So this book had a lot of photographs in it, photographs of us and other people we're related to, and it's kind of a fun thing to have."

Although Diana isn't able to translate it, this shows how powerful and impactful the tree has been in helping her get in touch with more of her family members.
